Wenatchee Valley Humane Society Offers Low-Cost Vaccine Clinic for Cats and Dogs

WENATCHEE, WA- Wenatchee Valley Humane Society (WVHS) is providing a low-cost vaccine clinic to pets of dog and cat owners in Chelan and Douglas Counties, Wednesday, May 13, 2020 from 4-6 p.m. at WVHS.

Rabies vaccinations will be available, as well as FVRCP vaccines for cats and DHPP vaccines for dogs. Cost is just $10 per vaccination. Pet owners must be income qualified to be considered.

Space is limited and appointments are required to be made in advance. Those interested in scheduling can visit the shelter in person at 1474 S. Wenatchee Avenue, in Wenatchee or call 509-662-9577.

Pets should be accompanied by an owner, 18 or older, and, for safety purposes, dogs must be on a leash and cats transported in a carrier.

Owners should be note that vaccinations do require boosters at the one year mark and three years for rabies thereafter. Pets should be taken to their regular veterinarian for boosters to insure their pets’ health and safety.
