As part of our dedication to improving the lives of pets and people, we are launching Paws for a Cause. This program replaces the Kennel Sponsorship program starting in 2024.

On average, it costs WVHS $350 per pet to provide essential high-quality care. If an animal requires medical care, that cost can increase significantly. Adoption fees only cover a small percentage of that cost.

When you become a Paws for a Cause member, you are not only directly helping us to cover the costs of daily feeding, cleaning, medical care, and housing, but your gift will be combined with other sponsorship gifts to make the biggest impact.

You can sponsor as many pets as you wish. You can honor a beloved pet or person with your Paws For A Cause sponsorship and receive a Certificate of Support. Paws for a Cause members will also be acknowledged on a display in the Humane Society lobby.
