SEEKING INFORMATION IN DOG SHOOTING

WENATCHEE- Wenatchee Valley Animal Care & Control are seeking information regarding a dog that was shot Thursday, February 25, 2021, around 8:00 PM, near Orondo and Alaska Street, in Wenatchee.  A couple were walking their dog last night when they found a small grey, male, well groomed, Shih Tzu-type mix dog severely injured and bleeding. 

The dog was taken to the shelter and evaluated by a staff veterinarian.  The dog appeared to have a broken jaw and two bullet holes.  Due to the severity of the injuries, the dog was humanely euthanized.  The owner of the dog called Animal Care & Control today looking for his lost dog.
