Dog Bite Reported In Cashmere

On Saturday, April 18, 2020 at approximately 4:00 p.m., Animal Care & Control received a report of a boy being bit a dog on the river front trail, near the intersection of Norman Avenue and N. Douglas Street, in Cashmere.

The boy reports riding his skateboard on the trail, when he rode past a man walking a Rottweiler-type dog on a leash. The boy states the dog lunged out and bit him, breaking the skin. The boy says he notified the man about the bite, to which he states the man responded, “My dog doesn’t like wheels.” and then continued walking away.

If you have any possible information to help identify the dog, or its owner, please contact Animal Care & Control at 509-662-9577, option 1.
