WENATCHEE VALLEY HUMANE SOCIETY MAKES CHANGE TO HOURS OF OPERATION

WENATCHEE- Wenatchee Valley Humane Society (WVHS) will be closed on Wednesdays, beginning this week. The change in hours will allow staff time to deep clean and tend to other important shelter needs, while maintaining social distancing standards.

The shelter is open by appointment the remainder of the week and those seeking an appointment should call 509-662-9577, opt. 2. Due to high call volume, it is possible the caller may need to leave a detailed message.

Those interested in adopting should have a specific animal in mind when calling and, if leaving a message, should include the pet's name. To view adoptable animals, visit WVHS’s online adoption center: www.wenatcheehumane.org/adopt

The Wednesday closure does not impact Wenatchee Valley Animal Care and Control (ACC). They can be reached at 509-662-9577, opt. 1. Please note, the ACC lobby is closed to the public and bailouts should be scheduled by calling ACC. Licensing can be done via phone or online: www.wenatcheehumane.org/licensing

Wenatchee Valley Humane Society is open for appointments Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 2:30-6:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
