Wenatchee Valley Humane Society Partners with the Petco Foundation to Celebrate National Foster a Pet Month in June

“Fosters are integral partners to our organization,” explains WVHS Executive Director, Dawn Davies. “They allow us to take in far more animals than the shelter building has space for and they care for some of the most fragile and dependent of our pet population, including newborn kittens. Simply put, without foster families in our community, WVHS’s success rate would not be nearly as high.”

WENATCHEE VALLEY HUMANE SOCIETY TEAMS UP WITH KING 5 TO HOST NBCUNIVERSAL OWNED TELEVISION STATIONS’ FIFTH CLEAR THE SHELTERS™-PET ADOPTION DRIVE

Wenatchee Valley Humane Society (WVHS) is teaming up with KING 5 to host NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations’ fifth annual Clear The Shelters™ pet adoption drive this Saturday, August 17, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m..  For this event, WVHS will offer low cost pet adoption fees to help local families adopt a new pet. Since 2015, NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations’ nationwide Clear The Shelters campaign has resulted in more than 250,000 pet adoptions.
