donate to the medical fund- save lives!
Every animal arriving at WVHS receives vaccinations, a medical exam and are spayed or neutered. But many need more expensive medical treatment. Some have suffered from abuse or neglect. Some are malnourished and starving. Many are injured. The reasons vary and the costs are staggering. In 2018, WVHS spent nearly $300,000 in emergent medical care for animals at the shelter.
Without necessary medical treatment these animals would not survive. Many recover quickly and some need extra time to recover, with a loving foster family, until they are ready to find their new FUR-EVER home. Your support of this fund save lives and gives these hopeful animals a second chance in life.
