NIGHT ON THE RIDGE

Part of living well is celebrating our community and members. What better way to celebrate than with a party in the snow at Mission Ridge Ski and Board Resort for Numerica Night on the Ridge?!

Be one of the first 700 people to visit Numerica's Wenatchee or East Wenatchee branches on Friday, February 8 beginning at 9 a.m. to snag a lift ticket. Tickets will be available first-come, first-serve for a donation of at least $1.

All proceeds will benefit the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society. (Limit 2 lift tickets per person.) Then grab your gear and meet us up at the mountain for a night of skiing and boarding from 4:30 - 8:30 p.m.
*Numerica Members* Pick up your tickets early on Thursday, February 7 from 2 - 5 p.m.!

Our amazing friends at Tap and Putt have committed to donating a $1 to WVHS for every draft beer sold on Thursdays. So, come have some fun all for a great cause.

Our friends at Firehouse Pet Shop have graciously offered to donate 10% of all sales made this Giving Tuesday to Wenatchee Valley Humane Society. The more they sell, the more they can give to the animals so please visit them to check out all the great pet and pet people items they offer.

Firehouse Pet Shop is doing some amazing things for animals in our community this holiday season! Beginning Black Friday, they are kicking off a Holiday Drive for the Animals that runs through December 23rd. The drive ends with Santa delivering goodies to the animals of Wenatchee Valley Humane Society.

Join them in helping animals in need by purchasing a drive bag from their shop, located at 17 S. Wenatchee Ave. in Wenatchee.

Subaru Loves Pets
Cascade Subaru

It’s time again for Cascade Subaru’s ‘Subaru Loves Pets’ event, happening during the entire month of October in their showroom and service department!

Get involved with this fun event by bringing pet-oriented donations, such as pet food, collars, leashes, towels, blankets, grooming supplies, food and water bowls, toys, treats and cleaning supplies to either the Cascade Subaru showroom or Subaru service department. As a token of appreciation for your generous donation, Cascade will have either a plush Ascent or plush Forester in the “Barking Garage” ready for you to take home.

In addition to collected donations, Cascade Subaru will also be providing “New Parent Kits” and “Shelter Kits” to Wenatchee Valley Humane Society at the wrap of the event.

You can even get your pets involved with ‘Subaru Loves Pets’ bandannas for your pets! Share Subaru’s love for animals by taking your bandanna’ed pet’s photo in the doghouse and share on social media with #SubaruLovesPets and #CascadeAutocenter hashtags.

”LOSING TIME FINDING FREEDOM'“ PREMIERE WITH RAFFLE TO BENEFIT WVHS

If you like motorcycles, craft beer, wine, and art, we hope you’ll check out the premiere of local filmmaker Taylor Mock’s travel documentary, “Losing Time Finding Freedom,” a motorcycle travel documentary.  The journey depicted in the film features sights from Route 66, Utah, Pacific Coast Highway, San Francisco, Redwoods, The Oregon Coast and much more. 

The screening will be held at Saddle Rock Brewery. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., with the movie starting at 6:45 p.m. Seating is first come, first served. A cash only cover charge of $5 is required.

A raffle to benefit Wenatchee Valley Humane Society will be held, with awesome prizes available! Raffle tickets can be purchased with cash or by bringing supplies for the shelter. All raffle proceeds (cash and supplies) will go to the WVHS.

Beer, wine, and soda will be available for purchase with cash or card. The kitchen will closed for this event, but small snacks will be available (cash only).

Join Coastal Farm and Ranch, along with Hill's Science Diet, as they help feed the homeless animals at the shelter with their "Donate By the Pound" event! For every 'pound' purchased, Coastal and Hill's will donate an additional 1/2 pound of food.

Donation of 'pounds' are just $2 per pound.

The team from Barry Automotive and PetSmart are partnering with Wenatchee Humane Society to “Fill the Truck!” with supplies for the animals of WVHS.

For the entire month of August, Barry Automotive will be filling a truck with as with as many items from Wenatchee Valley Humane Society’s wish list as it can hold! Please bring your donation items to 881 N Mission Ave and help “Fill the Truck!” Visit our wish list here.

In addition, Barry Automotive will also be paying the adoption fee for one animal for every vehicle sold in August!

OL' DOG DAYS BENEFIT DINNER CONCERT

The second annual Ol Dog Days concert will be held Thursday, August 2, 2018. This year's event features headliner the Kevin Jones Band, and local artists Eden Moody and Elaine Eagle. Food is provided by Two Chefs Catering and attendees will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for great prizes, as well as a variety of beverages.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m., music starts at 5:30. Tickets to the event include food and the concert. Prices are just $35 for adults and $15 for children 15 and under. 

**Parking for the event is at Hot Rod Cafe in Monitor, where a shuttle will transport attendees to the ranch.**

2018 Dog Days of Summer

Dog Days of Summer is fun and educational for the whole family! Kids and canines will enjoy a day of discovery including an animal hospital, education about dogs and handling, view or participate in obedience training, agility training, rally events and more. Bring your well-behaved dog or meet different breeds of dogs provided by the Wenatchee Kennel Club. Trinity Inflatables will feature two inflatables, a doggie & me photo booth, and fun paw tattoos (and more) for the children. All the vendors will be giving out samples, advice, and information. If you love dogs and want the children to explore, this is a show not to miss!  All Well-Behaved Dogs Welcome! *Must be on a Leash*

Best Corvette Show by a Dam Site
Rocky Reach Dam, Wenatchee

The Wenatchee Valley Corvette Club is hosting it's 7th Annual Nothing But Vettes Show (The Best Corvette Show by a Dam Site), Saturday, April 28th from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m.  This show is a great time to come and enjoy the dam sites while taking in the beauty of “the great American sports car."

Over the past four years, WVCC has generously donated proceeds from ticket sales and a percentage of sponsor fees to the animals at WVHS. This year they have set a goal of  $5,000 and hope you will join them in meeting (or beating) it! WVHS volunteers will be on hand at this fun event (hopefully) soaking up the sun and enjoying the show, so come join them!  There will be 50/50 raffle tickets available for sale. Visitors admitted free of charge.
