Bean1Bean2Bean came to our shelter as a stray at a very young age with a case of puppy strangles, an immune dysfunction affecting puppies under the age of four months. With antibiotic and steroid treatment and long term foster care, Bean was able to heal and outgrow this condition and develop into one adorable little gal with loads of kisses for her new family! Medication costs $197.00. Bean was ADOPTED 2/11/2010!!!

 

Boomer2Boomer1Boomer has a heart of gold and is willing to share his wealth with the whole world! He is 5 months old and is in foster care healing from a recent his leg amputated due to an older injury that would not heal. Boomer is such a family man. He is marked special needs because he will need a little extra TLC while he recovers, but other than that he will be your typical active boy.! Surgery date 1/26/2010. Surgery and medication costs $597.00. Special adoption fee $150.00. ADOPTED 2/25/2010.

 

Chocolate1Chocolate2Chocolate is a quiet, polite boy who likes to be held and cuddled in your arms. Chocolate at 6 years of age needed a complete dental make over. He had to under go surgery twice due to the quantity of infected teeth needing removed! Chocolate was ADOPTED 12/3/2009. Surgery date 11/04/2009 and 11/30/2009. Surgery and medication costs $385.00.

 

Nubbins1Nubbins2Nubbins came to our shelter as a stray with a deep cut around the base of her tail that was badly infected. She had surgery to remove the damaged tail and was placed in foster care to heal. Being such a young girl of 12 weeks of age she healed quickly. Nubbins is a real sweetheart and likes to be in your lap soaking up your body heat and giving you lots of puppy kisses. Nubbins was ADOPTED 12/3/2009. Surgery date 11/20/2009. Surgery and medication cost $225.00.

 

Ginger1Ginger2Ginger arrived at our shelter as a stray with a severe skin infection that had been left untreated for quite some time. With hair loss, skin irritation Ginger was very happy to receive antibiotic and anti-inflammatory treatment for 5 weeks to help her heal to the beautiful girl she is in her photographs. Ginger is a very sweet gal and surprisingly quiet in her kennel. She seeks human interaction and was quick to learn sit and lie down. We are very happy to say Ginger was ADOPTED! 11/17/2009!!! Medication cost $285.00.

 

Versace1Versace2Versace received leg amputation surgery needed from an untreated old leg injury. As you can see, Versace is one very happy goat now! He is healing and will be able to mingle with his new goat friends soon! Surgery date: 10/8/2009. Surgery and medication cost $538.00.

 

Scout_1Scout_2Scout had entropion in his right eye which is why his eye looks all watery and puffy. The lid on his eye was turned inward with the lashes irritating and infecting his eye constantly. Scout had surgery and and as you can see is all smiles and friendly with everyone! How do you spell relief? SURGERY!!! Surgery date: 10/7/2009. ADOPTED! 10/11/2009!!! Surgery and medication cost $170.00.

 

Bing1Bing is a DOLL! She is a nice little gal with a big heart. She came to our shelter as a stray with a condition called cherry eye, a prolapse of the gland of the third eyelid. Unlike people, dogs have a 'third eyelid' that contains a tear gland and is located in the corner of each eye. Under normal circumstances, this gland is not visible and aids in the production of tears. Treatment of cherry eye is very straightforward and consists of surgically repositioning the gland. Because the exposed gland is at greater risk for further trauma or infection, prompt surgical replacement is the best choice. Surgery date: 9/16/2009. ADOPTED! 10/10/09!!! Surgery and medication cost $105.00.

 

Floppy1Floppy2Floppy is a very sweet loving young gentleman. He came to our shelter as a stray with an old leg injury. His front leg was broken, deformed and the muscles atrophied. Since having surgery of removing the leg, Floppy is happy and gets around great! He is improving daily and looking for a forever family & home! to love! This boy is a huge lover!!! Surgery date: 9/10/2009. ADOPTED! 10/10/09!!! Surgery and medication cost $485.00.

 

Bellsface1Bellsbody1Bells is a very sweet loving cat!! She will be great in a house hold that is quieter or for someone who wants a cat that only is in your lap when invited. Bells is a 3-legged cat due to an injury to her front leg which needed to be amputated. This does not slow her down and she gets along fine. Each day Bells grows more confident and is starting to explore on her own. Surgery date: 7/24/2009. Bells ADOPTED 9/5/2009!!! Surgery and medication cost $265.00.

 

ScoobyfaceScoobybodyScooby is a kind gentle fella!! He is sweet, affectionate and loves to give kisses. Scooby is 15 months old and has the biggest softest heart that you could ever ask for and is very deserving of a second chance! Scooby needs surgery to correct hip dysplasia. Surgery date: 7/30/2009. Scooby ADOPTED! 8/22/09!!! Surgery donated by Dr. Bryan Keppler, Animal Hospital of Wenatchee, Cost $3000-$5000.

 

RufusfaceRufusNewfaceRufus is one hug-gable 10 month old fellow! He is simply irresistible with his big wrinkly face and extra skin. FelixfaceFelilxbodyDickey is a fun little fellow that came to our shelter with what appeared to be a broken leg or pelvis injury. He required radiographs (x-rays) to determine the extent of his injuries. Rads showed that Dickey had a completely fractured pelvis, his legs were OK. Treatment was confinement for 8 weeks to see if the pelvis would heal well enough to allow him a mostly normal life. Dickey healed beyond expectations and has found his forever home and now goes by the name of Felix. With radiographs to determine the extent of his injuries Dickey/Felix received the care he needed to recuperate and is now in his forever home! Felix was ADOPTED 7/28/2009. Radiograph and sedation cost $210.00.

 

Phoenix1Phoenix2Phoenix was an owner surrender to our shelter the day after Christmas 12/26/2008. As a 2 month old puppy Phoenix was playing outside and fell into a sunken burn barrel his owners thought had cooled from the burning the previous day. Unable to afford the medical costs of caring for Phoenix’s burns, they surrendered him to our shelter. Phoenix’s was treated immediately and placed in foster care to heal. After months of care, treatment, lots of bandage changes and loads of love Phoenix found his forever home and family with children to love and adore! Thanks to donations to our Emergency Vet Fund and a volunteer willing to foster this little fellow, Phoenix is one happy, active, playful, much loved and handsome dog! Your donations make a difference in saving lives of the animals in our community! Phoenix was ADOPTED 3/7/2009!!!
