Way to go Skylar!
Remember the pretty Siberian boy with one eye? You called him Willy, and I changed it to Skylar...Well...he was adopted yesterday! Got a GREAT home in Post Falls Idaho, where he has 3 Siberian "sisters" to romp with. He will even get to do some recreational and sprint dog sledding this winter. I think he will be happy there. That eye surgery healed up great. He is a good lookin' boy these days. He was a sweet guy here. I know he'll get lots of love and have a great life. Thanks for going to bat for him and letting us know about him.

Hi WVHS!
This is the former "Willie"---the one-eyed siberian you had last summer. Look! He has a GREAT home in Post Falls, gets to run on a team (and is also a wonderful PET). He is running lead! And I hear he did an awesome job!

Thank You to Eric & the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society!

dear eric ...

thank you for taking me in and letting me play with your dogs and mostly for housetraining me.

rob and robin think i am smart and well-behaved and, so far, i have them conviced of that.

i was really afraid of the stairs in their house at first. now i am the "stairmaster!"

i get to sleep on their bed every night and i have two great portable kennels with lots of squishy, squeaky and yummy toys...including my blanket and bear!

my best friend, sugar, is an australian shepherd puppy and we get really dirty together. but, i like dirt, baths and towels. i also like to chew on towels, pants and blankets. i also like my vet. he has a fully-grown retriever named lucy and thinks i am "the dog's pajamas!" (only 'cause i ate those, too!)

things are good but i miss you and the other guys! i hope to see you soon again and thanks again for everything!

Rob & Robin

Shasta (Pasta) is a gem!

Hi Christine, here is a picture of our black lab Cassie with her new best friend, Shasta, who came to us from the Wenatchee Humane Society.

Cassie was pretty sad after losing her older 'sister'
Allie this summer. Now Cassie has a buddy with whom to run and play chase, chew bones, or simply hang out and relax with.

Shasta is adapting quite well to her new home, going on fun adventures with her humans, and is enjoying meeting even more new friends at our doggie/human training classes. Shasta wins the hearts of every dog and human she meets. We sure are enjoying her.

Thanks so much to Christine, and the Wenatchee Humane Society, for helping Shasta find a happy home, and for helping Cassie find her new 'little sister'!

Thank you WVHS!
While visiting my son in Wenatchee, I found it necessary to bring my dog Sally to Club Pet on an almost daily basis. It certainly was a real help to me, enabling me to see the sights and enjoy some activities without worrying about Sal in the terrible heat wave we encountered.

As an unexpected bonus, I adopted a sweet little kitten (now named Carmen) from the shelter. She was a real trooper on my 1300 mile trek home, even using the litter box during Sally's potty stops! They have become fast friends, playing and snoozing together. Carmen keeps both of us entertained!

I just want to thank everyone involved with the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society for your wonderful daycare program, and the ease of your adoption process. You made my stay in Wenatchee truly memorable.

We adopted Lady ...

In April I adopted "Lady" a wonderful yellow lab/golden retriever mix at your shelter. I just wanted to let you know she is a wonderful addition to our family. We have renamed her "Penny" and we enjoy every day with her. We take her for 2 long walks daily as well as a daily swim in Lake Washington. She loves her new life and as you can see is very happy!! Thanks for having her there....I know she was just waiting for us!!
